Very 1st cars from 1980 (model '81) had silver door handles (main pic), then they were changed for black ones (thumb), perhaps during the 1981, but unclear if enough late to be considered as "Model Year 1982" modification, especially that some other models of Renault got black handles IN MY 1981. To confuse people, some later (1982, 1983) Trafic's brochures (re)use pics of the earliest Trafics with silver handles, but some other show them already with black ones.
