The car with black body and yellow roof is a Premier Padmini. It was built in India between 1962 and 1998, and based on Fiat 1100D. The Padminis are very popular as taxicabs in India with painting scheme pictured here. |

It's not exactly the same as the other Padmini, there are some differences around the grille. but if the bus looks more attractive fine by me. |

I'd be inclined to disregard the differences. Padminis - particularly taxis - have a hard life in Mumbai, and damaged grilles etc. are probably repaired or replaced by items fabricated locally. |

Alright, it's now a single deck bus. I thought the difference might have been model year since they were in production for 37 years. Must have been exciting. |
