With British buses, it's easier to start with the body. In this case, I think it's a Plaxton President. The livery is that of Arriva/Original London Sightseeing Tour. The chassis is probably a Dennis Trident or Volvo B7-something - SteveA can probably figure it out. ![]() EDIT: Definitely a Plaxton President. Haven't found the chassis yet. http://www.bus-photo.net/showphoto.php/?6381 -- Last edit: 2008-12-08 21:02:53 |

The bus in your link (Arriva DLP7 T207XBV) is quoted as a DAF DB250LF if that helps? Cannot read the number plate on the main picture. V601LGC edit: found here as DLP201 http://jel-arriva.fotopic.net/p35393087.html - not found on DVLA/HPI/mycarcheck From: "The Bus Forum" DLP201 was actually a demonstrator, and was (possibly) first ever DAF/President to be built. It was originally delivered with number plate S201 JUA.... It would appear that it got re-registered as a V-reg, (V601 LGC) and snapped up by Arriva who bought it along with the rest of their T-reg examples. It would appear to be DAF with Plaxton President body? -- Last edit: 2008-12-08 23:00:50 |
