![]() Much better then it's horrendous sequel. /movie_229260-Book-of-Shadows--Blair-Witch-2.html. It was actually pretty good, for the time it was made. Definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it yet. Happy 4th of July everyone! |

I think the problem with the new pics is that the original ratio for this movie is full-frame (1.33). It was done that way because it was shot on video and not a movie camera. So the new pics are wide-frame at 1.81 (I guess they were supposed to be 1.85?), so they don't match the original ratio. |

^ Looks like another streaming travesty to befall Terra in recent times. On blu-ray the aspect ratio is 4:3. |

I'll probably pick this up on blu-ray to add it to my collection. Sorry guys ![]() @humungus. How do you get captures from blu-rays? When I try to do it on my PC, they don't show up. All I get is a black screen. I assume this is because of copyright protection. I'm using a external blu-ray drive. -- Last edit: 2025-07-05 15:57:42 |

Try turning off hardware acceleration in Windows/VLC. Otherwise you can download MakeMKV and rip the blu-ray to your PC, then play using VLC. -- Last edit: 2025-07-05 22:11:13 |

^ Ripping blu-ray to your pc is the way to go to make blu-ray captures, and if you choose to do so, I recommend Avidemux for making captures. It may be a bit slow to load the video (it's an editor, after all), but after that moving back and forth through the video is a breeze. |

Apparently my PC lacks the necessary hardware to run the ripped Blu-ray. This is way to complicated for me![]() |
