Actually I think from other parts of this scene that it's a Chrysler Vision or the Canadian market Chrysler Intrepid.

I don't thnk it's either an Intrepid or a Vision. Even if it were a Canadian market Intrepid, this car doesn't have the full-width tail lamp, it has the recess for the license plate. And since the movie was filmed in the US, the odds of it being a Chrysler Vision are extremly unlikely.

I feel a bit foolish, but I have to retract what I said earlier. This would be a Chrysler Vision (I'd forgotten that the Concorde also had the full-width tail lamp). It's very strange for one to be in New York (as opposed to an Eagle Vision), but that's what it seems to be.

Are we sure that this particular scene was shot in New York? It could have been done with a soundstage and green screen effects, and sometimes overseas studios do that. Parts of it could have also been shot in Vancouver (nearly all American films nowadays are shot at least partially in Canada), which would explain the Canadian market thing.

For what it's worth, the IMDB doesn't list any Canadian locations.

It's probably either New York or a studio backlot in Los Angeles with the background added digitally.

So it's a Vision?

The background is certainly CGI-made. Look at the twisted perspective of the houses.

Yes I'd say we can agree on Chrysler Vision.

i can smell Intrepid. Vision has amber turning signals even in Europe and they would be visible from this angle http://www.history-of-cars.com/images/chrysler/chrysler93vision4.jpg

But the shape of the trunklid is still closer to a vision than an Intrepid, not to mention that a Chrysler Intrepid would also be a peculiar find in the US, seeing as they were sold as Dodge here.

Chrysler Intrepid would still be easier to find in NYC than a Chrysler Vision but you might be right about the rest. are we facing another Frankencar like Cody Banks Tempo/Topaz mutant ?
