I think the 2-door model was called (P) 130. It looks like the color is black, so it should be a 1967. |

The 2-door models belongs to the P130 series and the 4-door models to the P120 series, wagons are P220. These numbers are mostly for internal reference. On the emblems they are labeled 121 with single carb engines or 122S (123GT) with the twin carb engines regardless the number of doors. Wagons are always 221 with both engines, if I´m not mistaken. My guess is that both Amazons appearing in this film are 121:s (most common) but we can´t see the emblems to decide. So maybe we should label them like this instead: Volvo Amazon [P130] (1967 or 68) This one Volvo Amazon [P120] (1957-61) The other one If so, we´ll have to check and correct the other Amazons on the page. What do you think? |
