1994-1996... It can't be a 1992-1993 because it has the third brake light and it can't be a 1997 because those didn't have amber turn signals. |

Just so you know it's not me saying it here's a couple of links to back me up: http://consumerguideauto.howstuffworks.com/1990-to-1997-ford-aerostar.htm http://www.edmunds.com/used/1994/ford/aerostar/10821/review.html That must have been a typo or the guy just didn't knwo what he's talking about. 1994 was when the US government mandated that all light-duty trucks, vans and SUV's have the stop lamp. If you do some research, alot if not all light-duty trucks in the US before 1994 didn't have them. That should be helpful to identify a more specific year for other vehicles on this site too. |

"Center High Mounted Stop Lamps (CHMSL) have been standard equipment on all new passenger cars sold in the United States since model year 1986 and all new light trucks since model year 1994, as required by Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108." http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/rules/regrev/evaluate/808696.html |

I have owned a 92, and 95 Ford Aerostar. In this picture the van doesn't have amber turn signals. The amber tint is from the amber light bulbs. The older models with Amber turn signals are much darker and more noticeable. |

Although very similar, it's not the exact same one from Picture Car Warehouse. |
