Based on a Simca 1100 indeed. This extra high roof belongs to a VF3. The VF3 was new for 1979, so it can just be a Chrysler 1100 VF3 (though PSA had already bought over the European Chrysler, this year they were allowed to use the Chrysler brand..). Or is it already a 1980 Talbot? Upto now we only had a Talbot VF3 on the site. |

Can we be absolutely sure that a "Chrysler 1100" even exists? A quick search showed nothing, and Wikipedia does not the name. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simca_1100). Since this has been identified as a VF3, I suggest to rename it to: 1980 Talbot 1100 VF3 , unless we find evidence that these were also sold as Chrysler 1100. |

There were countries where name "Chrysler" used to play more noticeable role in brochures and Holland had to be one of them, that has to explain DynaMike comment I believe. VF3 was made since late 1978, 1st as Simca, but black rear door handle makes it already a Talbot I believe.
