The factory at Nessonvaux is now derelict, VW wanted to build Beetles there after WW-II, but the workers refused and production went to Vorst/Forest near Brussels. Perhaps someone needs to listen to the soundtrack to get some clues on the identity of some of these cars - particularly those in competition. |

Hmmm...  a great solution except I understand the soundtrack very well  it's in Dutch with interviews in French. They talk about the origins of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit while showing footage of early races, but details about the cars are never given.
