![]() Made-for-Movie Zeppelin. Also from the movie, including a truck that probably cannot be identified and a staff/military car that was probably too modern to be shown in close-up. ![]() ![]() |

This is how the real airship LZ 36 (L9) made by Zeppelin looks like:![]() Was lost through fire in 1916 while being filled with gas. -- Last edit: 2007-06-26 12:54:54 |

Also another view of the 'German' WWI truck or replica (normally I would think of a British "Leyland A-type"?) seen as a background vehicle a number of times...![]() -- Last edit: 2008-12-01 15:45:00 |

That truck's a problem. I've checked all the major British 'subsidy' manufacturers - Layland (A-type), Dennis, Thorneycroft - and the American Liberty, and none of them seem to have been produced in a forward-control (COE) configuration, which this appears to be. |

truck is supposed to be an American made "FWD" hence the cab over engine position..its deffo not a real one tho. |

Well spotted 2491tj. ![]() Although the radiator and bonnet look wrong the chassis looks very similar. Worth listing I think as a replica, as it possibly could turn up in another movie. ![]() http://flickr.com/photos/mr38/2534323266/in/set-72157600204050985/ |
