IMPDb Train with brand-new Pontiacs on it: Mountain of junked cars: Norwegian ship MS Moldanger, built by Kockums in 1950, sold to China Navigation in 1970 and renamed Soochow. Sold to Cia. de Navegacion Full Moon S.A. of Panama in 1977, renamed Yat Shing and ultimately scrapped in Shanghai 1979: Not to be confused with MS Moldanger (1933), which sank in 1942 after being torpedoed by German submarine U-404 off the East Coast of North America. 9 survivors of the sinking were rescued after spending 42 days on a raft. |
