Though I am a native French speaker, for me the Quebec French dialogs in this movie were less easy to understand than the English ones |

I'm surprised none of the Les Boys films are on here. A lot of Canadian movies are slept on on IMCDb. I've added 2 or 3, any other Canadians on here should be slowly adding the Canadian classics. Les Boys (all 4 movies) The Rainbow Boys Gina Marion Bridge New Waterford Girl Gotta be a few more I'm forgetting. |

It's always fun to see a Quebec production being able to afford at least one car crash in it. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places, but I rarely ever see those. Après la physique d'Hollywood, voici l'anatomnie québécoise  Pis chuis un chouilla comme antp, faut qu'j'révise mon vocabulaire : tabernac or tabernacle ?  Heureusement que les Suisses ne font pas de film trilingue ! (*) (en plus, ils seraient capables d'y glisser des patois qu'eux-mêmes ne comprennent d'une vallée à l'autre (*) j'ai tenté les sous-titres : youtube ne s'embête pas; il mentionne [music] mais rien sur les 3 répliques suivantes. Mais quand ça speak american, yes! you can read ! |

Bah.. Youtube et les sous-titres... ma mere regarde des Daniel Boone ( en anglais ) avec les sous-titres et le pauvre Daniel voit son nom changer en Bone , Boon, Boom , Boome .. pareil pour son ami Mingo , qui devient Mango, Bingo ... et ca, c'est dans le meme épisode, en anglais, les traductions ( quand c'est offert , Daniel Boone ou autres ) sont simplement tordantes... tabernacle est le vrai mot utilisé par l'église .. le véritable juron québecois est " tabarnac " -- Last edit: 2025-05-14 06:24:51 |
