![]() Another from my Children's Film Foundation/BFi Bumper Box Volume 3 set ![]() Fairly pedestrian story about a London kid who joins the community exodus of her street to go hop-picking in Kent ![]() - apparently this was a regular thing in the 1950s, with each farm laying out a shanty camp site (sheds, tents, barns etc) for the families, who arrived in their hordes. Trundles along well enough, just like the train they go down on ![]() ![]() ![]() and there's a nice windmill ![]() As a CFF film, it had to have a family doggie in there somewhere, but in a cunning twist this time it's a pottery one ![]() which has lots of adventures and its own plotline. |
