Episodes 10 to 13 and series completed.

In 'The Silver Lining' episode 1.05 only the Bedford OY was seen briefly and in 'Dead Letter' episode 1.11 only a single Austin 'Tilly' was seen in the background.

The technical accuracy and detail for a wartime series about bomb disposal is exceptional whilst still being an interesting drama. The drama itself is under-played which is unusual given the subject.

Which truck did they used to rotated the unexploded bomb?

This Bedford was the one used and here the stainless steel cable is being run out in preparation to rotate the aerial mine...

An actual Aerial mine...

Looks like they have also got the right vehicles (for a change ) and for once they are not all concours shiny like every vehicle in a period drama seems to have to be .

If I understand the process correctly they even accurately portrayed the progress the army made and the vehicles used.

Initially civilian trucks were used and the officier's own cars. The only army vehicles were motor bikes which were probably already available.
Then small early 15cwt Bedford MWs with soft-tops followed by Bedford OYs as equipment got heavier. Early trucks did not have the red mudguards seen later in the series, as the Austin Utilities were introduced and the officier's cars phased out.

Some of the vehicles used did look a little too well cared for but perhaps they were cleaned (bulled-up) when there was any lull in the action to keep the sappers occupied?
