Daimler (DE)
— Wikipedia page
Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (abbreviated as DMG, also known as Daimler Motors Corporation) was a German company, founded by Gottlieb Daimler (1834–1900) and Wilhelm Maybach, in operation from 1890 until 1926.
Because of the post World War I German economic crisis, in 1926 DMG merged with Benz & Cie., becoming Daimler-Benz and adopting Mercedes-Benz as its automobile trademark.
See Daimler Company for the British marque.
