Willys Overland

Willys Overland USWikipedia page

In 1908, John Willys bought the Overland Automotive Division of Standard Wheel Company and in 1912 renamed it Willys–Overland Motor Company.

Willys–Overland Motors produced vehicles under the Willys, Overland and Jeep brands.

Willys-Overland do Brasil was established in 1953, just before the Kaiser-Frazer takeover in North-America.
On the Brazilian market, the Willys Aero was sold as Aero-Willys.
Depending on the sources, the name Willys-Overland is sometimes referenced as make, but it seems that the actual brand name was just Willys, and it is how all vehicles are now listed here on IMCDb.

In North-America, the company had already changed its name in 1963 to Kaiser-Jeep Corporation; the Willys name disappeared thereafter, but it is only in 1967 that Ford gained control of Willys–Overland do Brasil.
