Marmon Motor Car Company was an American luxury automobile manufacturer founded by Howard Carpenter Marmon and owned by Nordyke Marmon & Company of Indianapolis, Indiana, U.S., and active from 1902 to 1933.
In 1933 it was succeeded by Marmon-Herrington.
In 1963, after Marmon-Herrington, ceased truck production, a new company, Marmon Motor Company of Denton, Texas, purchased and revived the Marmon brand to build and sell premium truck designs that Marmon-Herrington had been planning.
