This 'scene' is early 1960's. My father owned a red TC just like this one. I'm not sure how the AA badge was bolted up in that position on the grill! Of more interest to me is the salmon pink Hillman Minx behind it. This is a 1961 model, and the convertable version off this was my first car, in 1964. It was the same colour but had a light tan colour soft top that used to crack me on the head due to down - drafts. The huge doors sagged and would not close after a long run! I developed good biceps hauling the steering around. The green car is another Minx or similar Singer Gazelle- it has a 'hard- top' pillarless roof- notice the chrome frame top and sides to the door windows- like my convertible. The grey car behind that is a 'Farina' Austin Cambridge (possibly Morris Oxford- this was the era of badge engineering!) of about 1964. My mate drove one of those belonging to his dad. It was nicely made- but handled like a barge. I don't think such cars were really made with us teenagers in mind.
