it might be just the 2200, as there is not V8 badge on lower-right of grille, and the larger under-bumper air dam is not shown.

rover P6 2200 Series 2..identified by two "power bulges" to bonnet, indicating it as post facelift, 1971-77

yes, the 2200 was only available during the second series. The facelift external changes included this grille design and the peak to the bonnet front edge.

ahh, sorry that wasn't realised until you pointed it out. In that case, 2000sc Series 2 would be most likely. SC as there is no TC badge inset in grille. I have changed detail.

Could still be the first choice though - depends on how accurate the art director was.

Yes, or the rebuilder, as that paint looks fresh. Is there another shot to show more of the front below bumper?

I've had a look (didn't get screen grab though) and there's nothing to suggest a V8. Curiously, it's on a 'G'-plate.
