looks like one of those which are not manned but operated by remote

Actually mike962, this IS a manned vehicle. You can see the legs of one of the operators at the back of the tracks. At the same time, it doesn't show it in this picture, but earlier in the scene two people can be seen clearly sitting on and operating the machine. The same scene is seen in I Love Cat Machines, and again, the two passengers can be clearly seen.
