Japanese for sure. I strongly think either a 1974 Mazda 929 or a 1973 Toyota Corona Mark II. |

I think 1976-78 Mazda 929 Coupe matches more or less what we can make out here Corona coupe versions with similar rear lights have licence plate between the lights not under rear bumper as here. I couldn't find anything else that matches this... ![]() |

I'm leaning towards Corona Mark II judging by the front end. The Mazda does not feature such upswept headlight housing while it perfectly matches with that of the Corona. |

The rear end looks fine to me, the brake lights are separated by a cluster for the turn signals - the outer unit on the left side is bust (meanwhile, the Mazda only featured brake lights in a single cluster on either side), and I'm almost certain the plate was always placed under the bumper like this. You may be thinking of the previous generation or the non-Mark-II Corona. |
