electra225 ◊ 2016-08-19 15:19	This particular version Painted in British Racing Green metallic and with a canvas sunroof was named "British Open Calssic at the beginning and possibly "Balmoral" later if I remember well but I can't be sure: too many special editions on the classic Minis.
dsl ◊ 2016-08-19 15:27	Entered as British Open as most details match. Noted though that it doesn't seem to have edition badging, so might be a normal green in similar spec with sunroof option. I don't know the Balmoral edition as not sold in UK, but am not surprised that it existed - there were several EU-only editions - some across Europe, others individual countries only.
dsl ◊ 2016-11-23 21:09	Can now confirm this is not a Balmoral. Balmoral info is 1000 built 1995-96 for Belgium, France and Germany. Exterior pretty much as British Open with sunroof and same green, plus a new choice of black for Belgium and Germany. The difference was new interior of vivid red and black tartan interior - seats, headrests, door panels, red headrests - taken from 1995 UK Sidewalk edition.
