it's a 2-door sedan/coupé. It's visible a while, but no good picture. |

Best I can tell, the parking lamps are squared off meaning it's a 1951 (any model) or a 1952 Wasp. |

I don't know if it a surefire way for identification but I would guess 1951 Pacemaker by the four bumper overriders and lack of trim. |

It's really too vague to see what sort of side trim it has, but even the Pacemaker had the side crease and I can't make it out. The presence of four overriders does not brand it as a Pacemaker but the fact the center two are not linked does. The other three series, Hornet, Commodore and Super, had the middle two guards connected. (The 1952 Wasp also had separated overriders.) Will go ahead and list as 1951 as first possible year and if it is a '51, it has to be a Pacemaker. (It cannot be a '52 Pacemaker as they did not have the inverted chrome "V" in the grille.) |
