May be a '71, may be a '73 No difference. Most likely a '73 only because that was the highest production year before the '74 restyle. And yes, '77 Olds |

This is most likely an in-joke by director Joe Dante, who directed the two "Gremlins" films. In the Chinatown prologue in the first "Gremlins" film, another Gremlin (also broken down) can be seen. |
