However I'm not sure about the model year, because of safety reasons cars had to withstand a crash into a firm obstacle (wall?) in 5 mph if being sold in the U.S. from 1973 MY. If the above model had been sold in Europe it would have been a 1974 MY because of the bigger bumper, but I've seen cars with both the (extended) small bumper http://vpstestbringatrailercom.c.presscdn.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/08/37159.jpg and the bigger bumper https://ozvolvo.org/discussion/626/help-144-front-bumper-1973 intended for oversea markets.
