No ½-ton stake, so either a ¾-ton 3600 (123¼"/3.13 m wheelbase - 3609 Chevrolet model code) or a 1-ton 3800 (135"/3.43 m wheelbase - 3809 code). Both had single rear wheels as standard with dual as option, so the single rear wheels here can't help to identify the exact model. Possibly a 1-ton version, due to the bed rack height. But the viewpoint isn't the best one to say it for sure. (1955 brochure excerpt)
