@fontheking: When stating model names, please motivate why you believe this is a 745 and not a 945. Both models looked virtually the same. When I renovated the brakes to my 1988 Volvo 740, I liked to have new callipers fitted instead of resprayed ones which then could be bought from the Volvo dealer. After a while I managed to find the parts, mounted them, but couldn't fit the wheels. The reason was that the saddle was bigger on 1989+ models and models with bigger engine, and I accidently found one of those. Hence most models up to 1988 MY's had 14" wheels while Turbo, 16 V and 1989+ MY's had 15" wheels. As the one above has 14" wheels this cannot be anything else than a 1986-88 Volvo 740. Albeit it has black window surrounds which might suggest a version called "Black Line" in Sweden. |
