Long time since I perused these but is there any way to tell a 1973 to 1988 apart? Googling the last 20 or so minutes hasn't netted many results  I know most fire trucks were sitting on the 6500 chassis but again I am sure lower weight classes were utilized. I don't want to assume. |

I'm pretty sure the cowl badging on them changed at some point. But I don't know for sure when. |
