Factory 6-door versions were available from 1990 on and were called "V 124". According to Wikipedia, 2362 were built. |

In UK these were (i) 260E (Sept 90 to Oct 92) then 280 E (Oct 92 to Aug 93) then facelift E 280 (Aug 93 to June 96) or (ii) 250 D (Sept 90 to Aug 93) then facelift D 250 (Aug 93 to June 96). |
