Late S1 - low position front bumper, chrome side strip which seems to be 72+. |

The "chrome side strip" is probably just the rib/indent that all XJs had on their body. I would have just gone with Series I XJ and left the year blank (or entered the earliest year) -- Last edit: 2015-10-16 13:26:33 |

72+ US (and maybe CDN as well) XJs usually seem to get a chrome strip (eg compare /vehicle_760606-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-I-1971.html against /vehicle_628459-Jaguar-XJ6-Series-I-1971.html) but lower down, so agree now this is sunlight on the bodywork. And we can go early S1. |
