xOR plates were frequently seen on Renault UK fleet vehicles (cf J267LOR). Maybe loaned by Renault? -- Last edit: 2019-08-20 20:11:37 |

Sounds plausible - at its last MOT in 2005 it has only amounted 25,000 miles! |

It looked like a Renault factory ambulance (no idea who actually equipped them) to me anyway, so maybe they tried to make use of a demonstrator car. |

Have since found out it was originally owned by Dorset Health Authority, converted by Devon Conversions - Link to "www.buslistsontheweb.co.uk" - find in page the registration J212KOR, new as of November 1991. Devon Conversions also did the coachwork for the Ford Transits loaned by Avon Ambulance /vehicle.php?id=1289885#Comment2580143 -- Last edit: 2019-09-07 10:22:34 |

9.04![]() ![]() In 9.04 the ambulance is seen taking two patients in two stretchers. Never seen that before... |

That's how ambulances used to be...two stretcher cases or one stretcher case and the other stretcher had arm rests come down from the side wall of the ambulance to make 3 seats. |
