Ingo ◊ 2015-07-17 23:28	unfortunately no plate. Although it's listed in old insurance-tariffs, dsl-crap was extremely rare in West Germany, always under the detection limit. And definitely under any field of attention.
johnfromstaffs ◊ 2015-07-17 23:37	Interestingly, there is a quite old RAC badge, a not quite so old AA badge, and a Desmo Boomerang wing mirror attached to this thing. The two additional lights are possibly Lucas, and are hopefully fixed to the badge bar so that they do not shake and spread their beam into the eyes of oncoming drivers. dsl ◊ 2015-07-17 23:46	I'm too nice to be displeased. If the plate was UK it would be 1951 - 8 years too early. But the position is weird - would not be visible, so screen plate placed there for this shot. 1959 S3 (no suffix) - LHD judging by the wing mirror.
