I say this as none of the USA sold R107s ever had that style of (factory optional) rear spoiler + the 500SL was also never officially sold in the USA. This is a "grey-market" import meaning a non USA version privately imported from somewhere else, most likely Germany. I say this as none of the USA sold R107s ever had that style of (factory optional) rear spoiler + the 500SL was also never officially sold in the USA. They only got the 350, 380, 450 and 560 R107 SLs.
