Opel Blitz? |

Looks like a heavy model of the 1940s Blitz indeed. Seen in Wikipedia: It doesn't mean that this one is a 3-ton model, but it's for sure not a "small" version. |

agree with eLMeR as this Blitz is a 3 tons by higher roof and rear end of fender straight, no concave bow in it http://drawingdatabase.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/03/opel-blitz.gif for reference -- Last edit: 2015-05-31 22:40:05 |

... and the vertical grille, which was disturbing me as I didn't find it in most pictures of the (lower tonnage) Blitz I found on the web. Thanks for this picture, andrepa, which can be kept as reference indeed. And which allow us to identify this truck as a 1936-44 3-tonne truck. _____ It seems that no 3 To truck exists in the IMCDb with this as part of the model name, only as complement. Are the 3,5t really 3.5 tonnes models, or is it a mistake? And what about the 3,6? -- Last edit: 2015-06-01 00:31:37 |
