isn't that the first gen, that anyway existed only as Dodge/Freightliner (and was commonly rebadged as Mercedes afterwards) ? |

its a 1st gen. as for rebadging, you might be right, i can't tell them apart unless i have a visual proof of which one it is. also saw Link to "www.kijiji.ca" and a few on the road here so i supposed that they were sold as Mercedes in US too -- Last edit: 2015-04-02 07:52:53 |

Someone posted somewhere that in Canada they were sold as Mercedes-Benz too, but we're still not sure if the info is accurate or if these were rebadged (like what was commonly done). For example the Wikipedia link showing a silver Mercedes is most likely a rebadged one, due to the "2500" label on the door (I think ?) edit: (Wikipedia) So we can assume that 2001-2002 are Freightliner in US, Mercedes in Canada. Then 2003+ are either Dodge or Freightliner... The most generic name would then be Freightliner Sprinter, though that the Dodge version seems more commonly seen in US movies. -- Last edit: 2015-04-02 17:13:50 |

But, Freightliner Sprinter uses different hubcaps commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:NYPD_Freightliner_Sprinter_(14708052641).jpg /vehicle_338574-Freightliner-Sprinter-2007.html |

@rjluna2: your links show 2007+ models If Dodge, the one of this page is then a 2003+ model. As Freightliner, a 2001+ one. -- Last edit: 2015-05-03 01:49:36 |
