1958 hood emblem of the Task-Force truck line. Not a B-Series, said to have been unveiled in 1966 (but I never found a valid source about it), and not a medium-duty Viking for sure either: there were heavy-duty 8800 and 10800 buses for the 1955-57 model years, so they have been most certainly reactivated as Spartan 80 and 100 for the 1958-59 MYs... Sold by Chevrolet as School bus chassis or School bus models → Class: Bus, School[/quote] I may have been incorrect re the Chevrolet model but IT IS a Superior Coach |

I just know almost nothing about coachbuilders: without any way to check quickly the Superior Coach info, I waited to see if a more "coachbuilder-competent" admin could see and validate that ID What are the clues for a Superior Coach body? The 2 round bars and their location on the side of the bus, plus the way the windows are separated? The windshield shape seems important too... -- Last edit: 2015-03-25 06:39:06 |
