So now we know what happened to all those early 70s Met Rover 3500s - they were sent to Hendon for police cadets to play with on skid pans.

Seriously, our old armoured government-cars will, when they slipped down the magisteral ladder, finally given to the rough blokes (and chicks!) of the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GSG_9 and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spezialeinsatzkommando for their training-excercises.
At least, when the cars aren't totaled by these fellows (tipp: better don't mess with them...), they will be offered at https://www.vebeg.de/web/en/start/index.htm
But forget it! Then they are totally hosed! My brother-in-law works time-by-time as a driving-instructor on these police-skid pans and advised strongly against these offers.

walter will be happy, that this Audi could escaped of this fate :D
