It's an early Routemaster, either VLTxxx or WLTxxx, with another behind. On the bridge is either an AEC Reliance or a Leyland Leopard with Duple Commander body. |

That's Hammersmith Bridge Road. The Routemaster nearest the kerb looks as if it might be on route number 9, which runs over the bridge. Weight restrictions on Hammersmith Bridge now prevent the use of double-deckers, but I think that Routemasters operate on the central London section of number 9 as a "Heritage Route". -- Last edit: 2007-01-06 03:13:14 |
