dsl ◊ 2014-12-11 21:21	Seen throughout film driving around bits of newly-built M8 - some shots with final surface and road markings, some without road markings and some unfinished bits (eg flyover edges waiting for next section to be built). So either filmed on different occasions or different bits of M8 were opened in stages. Or both. Late 68 plate, Aug 66 onwards detail - rubber on over-riders, small plaque on rear bumper.

dsl ◊ 2014-12-11 22:33	The route to the edge This urban section of M8 still has a few short stubs for slips which were never built - mostly now overgrown or disguised, but they're there if you know where to look.
