Possibly, and a strange one at that.
This might be a 1957 or 1958 Ford Zephyr, and the main features that points that way is the rear lights ('standing upright' instead of in an incline, as of the Consul), but should have had a chrome strip beneath it between the lights and the bumper. And also some reflexes somewhere.
Instead it has plenty of decorations from other models, like the two chrome strips on the rear stem (from Consul de luxe), the side strip that goes all the way to the rear lights (as of the Zodiac and the later Consul) where the Zephyr had a the chrome strip sometime finnishings in a bend and sometimes in an "arrow". Early Mk 2 Consuls had a much shorter one.

Furthermore it has the s/s windows surrounds (at least the rear window), but I'm not sure if it has chromed rain gutters.
I can't see if it has the earlier or later facia.

Perhaps a late Zephyr or Consul de luxe with out-of-character rear lights?

Is this from local assemby? Did Ford have local assembly in Hong Kong?

Edit:
I didn't realize this was from Thailand.
Apparently Ford began assembly cars in Thailand in 1960 and kept on doing so until 1976, when they withdrew not returning until 1995 according to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_Motor_Company .
Don't they like reflexes in Thailand?

If so it's a 1960-61 Ford Consul or Zephyr (can't see the distance between the front wheel arch and the front door), made in UK, assembled in Thailand.

Apart from the strange rear lights, is there anything different from a 59+ Consul De Luxe - eg /vehicle_686228-Ford-Consul-204E-1959.html ??

Yes, the rear lights.

Found this "1957" Thailand Consul with same rear lights and other trim, but not a standard spec car so unreliable reference http://www.classiccarclubphuket.com/2012Sales/FordConsul.html ; also its alleged date seems to be a few years before local assembly start date of 1960/61. Seems Thai classic car fans take a flexible approach to restorations - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BlxslGv9Xto

My hunch is 61+ local assembly Consul.

@dsl 1:
There're much skill involved in some custom projects, and I must say I prefer custom restauration if the alternative is a scrapped car, which quite often it is.
Then there's the never ending question of taste...

@andrepa:
If that's the same car, it's a Consul.

@dsl 2:
If production started in 1960, this might indeed be a 1961 car, but as far as I know, the only real difference between a 1960 and a 1961 car is that disc brakes became available October 1960, and standard fittings from May 1961. Production stopped in April 1962. (Main production, according to Olyslager).
The car in your link seems very unlikely a 1957 model as it has the 1959+ facia, and as the rear lights are the same, my mind is satisfied.

This is likely a 1960+ Ford Consul, made in UK, assembled in Thailand. The chrome strips on the rear stem might indicate a De Luxe version, or just local variations.
