This must be one of the very last Fodens. Sadly last Foden was built in July 2006.

Foden, Seddon-Atkinson and ERF have all been killed in the last five years. I think Dennis is the only British truck make alive now (?).

Foden ended up as part of DAF Trucks, which in turn is owned by the American Paccar group. The official reason why Paccar discontinued the Foden marque is because it needed more space for DAF-badged models at the UK factory.

Seddon Atkinson still exists as a brand of Iveco for refuse and construction lorries:
My local council has some new Seddon Atkinson refuse lorries.

ERF still exists as a brand of MAN:

I suppose that these names have continued because they still have loyal buyers in Britain, even though they're just different badges attached to the parent company's products.

Dennis is still around, making fire engines and bus chassis. Its refuse lorries business became a separate company, Dennis Eagle.
