That is a 1971-74 3500 'S', same as here in the Sweeney: www.imcdb.org/vehicle_60243-Rover-3500-P6-1972.html In fact, seeing the number plate lettering, colour, and missing V8 badge inset on the grille - i bet it is the very same car.
dsl ◊ 2019-10-04 01:11	GYM 311 plate with various suffixes gets passed round several blue Mk2 3500 and 3500 S across many films and TV progs, usually but not always Police. Here's a plain 3500 with GYM 311C.
