This has a darker half upper side, or it's just a my impression? I really wonder what's the opinion of Hongkongers about Italian cars, especially the rusty Fiats. |

I see it's only the problem of camera angle. Normally Hong Kong people won't paint the car-roof in a darker color. In 1970s because of British influence, some Hong Kong dealers chose to sell Fiat in Hong Kong. In my impression, no Hong Kong people like Fiat. But due to the economic condition of Hong Kong in 1970s, Hong Kong people had no choice to drive. This is the example: /vehicle_717747-Fiat-132-1977.html The Fiat 132 was wrecked seriously in this movie. No one care about the value of this Fiat. Of course many Japanese cars are low-end, but Hong Kong people like Japan, so the sales of Fiat in Hong Kong has dropped sharply since 1980s. Nowadays it's very difficult to find a Fiat car in Hong Kong streets. Others like Ferrari and Lamborghini, are too luxury to be common. For the opinion of Hong Kong people about Italian cars, I can say: except something like Ferrari and Lamborghini, not well-known in Hong Kong. -- Last edit: 2014-09-16 19:38:21 |

My first Lancia Fulvia Berlina, which was a 1966 car, was originally registered in H-K, but by an ex pat Brit. It later nearly killed me, but not holding any grudge, I bought another one. |
