the yellow pickup is a '77+ datsun 620 king cab. the z is tougher with so much not there. i copied it and lightened it as much as i could, and i could almost make out a hint of the turn signals in the grille, so that would be '74.5+... the generally optional (from 1974 forward) right side mirror got more common toward the end of the run, and was standard on the "black pearl" cars in 1978. that in conjunction with the fact that most of the car is black leads me to believe that she could actually be a '78 (only). 1978 was the first year black was offered, and the last year for the S30. obviously the car had a tough 25+ years before the film capture so nothing is in stone, but "1978 280Z [S30]" is as likely as anything else, or more so. |
