Mmmh… When I see my 'general view', I have a doubt. But I think that the chances to see a (French) Latil in the country side of Sicily (where the movie is set and filmed) are very low. |

(Gear lever and angle of the steering column don't match, it seems.) |

DidierF are you sure this is even a tractor ?? cos driver seems to sit on a side instead of central as tractors have just one seat !! |

Well, watching it for the first time after… a long time, I doubt it is a tractor… It could be a very austere chassis-cab (even a chassis-bonnet), short wheel-based. Nevertheless, the driver's position seems to be central to me. (And I don't have the movie anymore.) … It could as well be some sort of little articulate thing. I'd have your power of enquiry, I'd look for immediat pre-war and post-war Italian stuff-for-the-countryside ('cause I do think it's really filmed in Sicily). -- Last edit: 2015-11-08 01:39:31 |
