electra225 ◊ 2018-06-15 23:01	In 1982 I came yo UK in order to improve my english as many other foreign student use to do in summertime. Attaining an English course in Essex I clearly remember that one of my English teacherused to drive a very similar Sunbeam but still with the Chrysler suffix. I can't recall the plate last letter in order to tell the year so it could have been either a 1978 or (more likely) a 1979. I am almost sure it was in LS trim (the poverty trim) but I have the starnge impression it came with the 1.3 cc engine but cannot be sure. Is it a mistake (LS in Italy was just a 1100 cc) or could it be ? -- Last edit: 2018-06-15 23:01:39
dsl ◊ 2018-06-16 00:11	In UK Sunbeam both LS and GL had choice of 928cc (a bored-out Imp 875cc) or 1295cc from Avenger. There was no 1100cc version here, and the only Chrysler family 1100 I can think of is the ex-Simca 1118cc which survived in lower versions of Horizon.
