an_unusual_eye ◊ 2014-07-28 17:24	if the color is original... she is (was) a 1979 model only in Citrus Green. however ~ if the color was changed along the way, and the WHEELS are original to the car... she was a 1981 model only, wearing the 1979-81 b-pillar trim, and 1981-83 non-turbo alloy wheel.

antp ◊ 2014-09-01 17:28	Said to be 1983 in the series, as it is supposed to be brand new I guess (hope) it is a repainted wreck. The other mass hits between the mint state and the destroyed state are very close shots, so I suppose they didn't actually damage a car in good state. an_unusual_eye ◊ 2014-09-03 03:42	they were definitely rounding up with the '83 claim. not a surprise though. antp is right... it would be nice if they were using a cobbled together wreck, but just as likely it was a basically undamaged but tired early ZX that got some superficial body work and a respray for camera appeal. maybe it was too rusty underneath to merit saving. we can hope.
