MisterZ ◊ 2014-03-23 00:01	Definitely no local assembly on these - fully imported, and very expensive as a result - $28,000+ in 1982, when a Holden Commodore cost only $11,000 at the time. Offered in "SE" and "Vanden Plas" trim levels. Agreed on 1982+ due to rear wiper (earlier models lacked this). This aired in 1983 so it can't be any newer than that. -- Last edit: 2018-12-10 17:43:29

Last exports were in 1985, ahead of tighter emissions controls from start of 86, and this last batch stayed on sale until 87; this included the discontinued-in-UK-after-Jan-84 3500 SE for 2 more years for Aus. VdP was 83 arrival in Aus - so this one is brand new.
