This was archived footage of the US Oil Crisis that occurred in October 1973. The US Oil Crisis was the result of the US's support of Israel whose forces were fighting against the forces of Egypt and Syria and their allies in the Yom Kippur War that last from the 6th to 25th October 1973. The Oil Crisis along with the US withdrawal from the Vietnam War had resulted in the US Economy Recession that lasted from 1973 to 1975. |
