Full chrome apart from wheel arches, but turbine wheels. Seems to be a 240 GLE, US spec early 80's. |

I believe you're almost right Link to "www.curbsideclassic.com" . But it seems to be a GL. Most probably a 1982+ because of the newer bumpers and that the turbine wheels were fitted as standard from that year. -- Last edit: 2014-01-23 09:06:17 |

It seems the GLE was only an option on the 260-series http://www.vlvworld.com/indexframe.html?VIN/vin81-96.htm (click on "production tables" near the bottom of the page, and then on "Volvo 240"). This is indeed a Volvo 240 GL. -- Last edit: 2014-01-25 10:58:31 |

@ zodiac: Agreed, but there realy was a 240 GLE for US. Hard to tell appart from GL. |
